Katie Pyne is a Los Angeles based, award-winning director, writer and producer with 10 years of experience in TV, film and digital media. Her directorial work includes narrative, documentary, reality, music videos and commercials. She’s directed over 60 ads for lifestyle and auto brands like Adidas, Google & Toyota, receiving Gold Internationalist and Summit Emerging Media awards for the social impact docuseries she created for Hyundai. 
Prophets of Science Fiction With Ridley Scott, Alien Encounters and The Unexplained Files are a few of her favorite shows she worked on during her time as a network producer at Discovery Science Channel in DC. Before that she was at CNN Documentaries in Atlanta where she received a Peabody for coverage of the BP Gulf Oil Spill while working on New Orleans Rising. She also worked on Generation Islam with Christiane Amanpour, Rescued: Children of Haiti, Latino in America and more with Soledad O'Brien, earning her multiple CINE Golden Eagles, an Edward R. Murrow and Imagen Award. 
Right now she's excited about exploring different genres and visual storytelling techniques to surprise audiences with fresh perspectives. Her short suspense thriller will hit festivals later this year.
